Thirty-One Lengths
Crafted in honor of Secretariat, this Kentucky Bourbon finishes with the same commanding strength that defined his legacy.
- THE MARGIN
The Most Decisive Victory In Horse Racing History
Thirty-one lengths. That was Secretariat’s winning margin at the 1973 Belmont Stakes. Just imagine the space between Secretariat and the second-place finisher. You could fit a superyacht, a Boeing 747, a 25-story building, lengthwise. It’s no wonder many consider Secretariat’s Belmont win the most dominant victory in horse racing history.
To honor the legendary Secretariat and his signature accomplishment, we’ve carefully selected this Kentucky Bourbon that finishes with the same commanding strength that defined his legacy.
- The Bourbon
Distilled to Finish as Strong as He Did.
Thirty-One Lengths is a Kentucky Bourbon aged fifteen years in single barrels at one of the Commonwealth’s most revered rickhouses. Bottled at 100 proof, this bourbon is a collaboration between famed Secretariat owners – the Chenery-Tweedy Family, Claiborne Farm, and Kentucky-born spirits house Hallowed Spirits. Thirty-One Lengths is a tribute conceived, distilled, and bottled by these, the three names so keenly associated and dedicated to both the legend and the bourbon.
Nose & Palate
A captivating bouquet of magnolia blossom, fig preserves, and fresh molasses rises from the glass, layered with notes of hand-tooled saddle leather, polished tack, and freshly cut garden mint. Silken in texture, the palate unfolds with rich cigar tobacco, exquisite flavors of a freshly crafted mint julep, and bright dried lime zest, beautifully accented by hints of nutmeg and allspice.
Finish
The finish is long, distinguished, and remarkably persistent, revealing lingering notes of fresh mint, dried fig, supple leather, and sweet baking spice. An elegant tribute to the grace, tradition, and pageantry of Kentucky horse racing.
